I can offer a safe, confidential environment where you will not feel judged or uncomfortable as we work together to explore your thoughts feelings and behaviours to help you to move forward in a more positive light.

I have a special interest in working with clients who are presenting with relationship stress or work-related stress and in particular the key workers e.g. teachers, health care professionals, emergency services and single mums.

I am passionate about mental health and well-being and know that during this current turbulent and uncertain time, we need to look out for each other and talk about your worries, stresses and anxieties. As we begin to move forward through this pandemic it has never been more important to ensure our key workers mental health is looked after and stress free.

Over the years I have worked with adults and vulnerable children who have presented with a wide variety of personal issues including:

stress – work-related stress,
anxiety and depression
bereavement and loss,
relationships - divorce or separation,
addictions,
self-harm and suicidal ideation,
domestic violence,
childhood issues
low confidence or self esteem

When working with you, I will use which ever counselling model that is more appropriate to your individual needs. This is because everyone experiences life and difficulties in a completely different ways therefore, needing bespoke therapy. I will work with you to explore your feelings, relationships with others etc to resolve those feelings that stem from your past that may now be causing you some difficulties.

Within the realms of CBT counselling, we will work within the here and now to understand, accept and explore your thoughts, feelings and negative behaviours that are impeding upon your life. Within this form of counselling you will learn the skills to enable yourself to deal with any problems that may arise in the future using the CBT approach.

I am here for you, you have made the courageous step in contacting a counsellor for help.
