About me

I focus on all forms of Anxiety, Stress, and/or Neurodivergence (ADHD, L1 Autism), bringing together years of professional experience with a deep passion for neuroscience to offer counselling that’s both compassionate and evidence-based. My approach blends therapeutic insight with brain science to support you through your counselling sessions to help you feel more grounded and back in control.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking greater clarity, we’ll work together to help you feel more in control, more at peace, and more connected to what helps you thrive.

Anxiety is your brain’s way of keeping you safe, but when it goes into overdrive, it can feel overwhelming and constant. In therapy, we help calm that inner alarm, so it supports you rather than controls you. It’s not about switching it off, it’s about tuning it to your life.

In a similar vein, I believe neurodivergence isn’t something to be “fixed”, it’s something to be understood, honoured, and empowered. Together, we’ll explore strategies that work with your brain, not against it.

As a qualified therapist (MBACP) and applied neuroscientist (BNA), I offer a safe, supportive space where you can process past experiences, make sense of your emotions, and build practical, personalised tools for navigating life. Reaching out can feel daunting - but it might also be the first gentle step toward lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
