About me
Areas of Support
In my clinical practice, I support individuals, couples, young people, and families navigating a diverse and evolving range of life challenges. I frequently work with clients facing relationship hurdles, communication struggles, trust issues, shame, and feelings of isolation.
Together, we can safely explore these vulnerabilities. Whether you are looking to rebuild a partnership by learning new ways to express your needs, seeking dedicated emotional support to heal after a split, navigating complex family dynamics, or rediscovering your own sense of identity and purpose, I am here to help you move forward.
Reaching out for support is the first step toward positive change. Healthy communication and connection are the foundations of a fulfilling life, but because we adapt who we are in every relationship, deep self-reflection is essential. When a connection breaks down, it is completely natural to experience confusion, isolation, and emotional pain, often leaving you with deep questions about your identity. From childhood to adulthood, we all carry internal patterns that dictate how we interact. Counselling offers a secure, non-judgmental space to bring these hidden dynamics to light, helping you process distress and find a clear path forward.
My Approach & Background
My approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-adaptive, and deeply collaborative. As a qualified Psychodynamic, Systemic & Relationship Counsellor, my background allows me to map complex relational patterns while honouring each client’s unique orientation and lifestyle choices, including non-monogamous structures. I draw from extensive experience across private practice, schools, digital platforms, and the charitable sector, including many years with Relate. My practice is proudly affirmative, inclusive, and anti-discriminatory, with a deep clinical understanding of the distinct challenges affecting LGBTQ+ communities, such as minority stress, systemic discrimination, identity exploration, and the vital nuances of intersectionality.
Commitment to Your Journey
Positive change begins with your commitment. I am here to help you understand how intentional choices can shape your life. My aim is to support you in building stronger, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others. To provide the highest standard of care, I maintain strict confidentiality and secure record-keeping in line with BACP ethical frameworks and safeguarding procedures.

To provide you with the most effective, safe, and modern support, I engage in regular professional development to ensure my clinical skills remain continuously refreshed and updated.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
