Hi my name is Nicky, I am a qualified, registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, Life Coach and NLP Practitioner running my own private business Workingtogether1-2-1 which is based in Heswall and Bromborough.

I deal with many issues, including depression, relationship issues, divorce, anxiety (generalised anxiety disorder), self-esteem, abuse, anger management, bi-polar, addictions, Ptsd , family issues and bereavement. I work with all age groups and offer couple counselling. I also work with university students and students helping them to achieve their full potential.
My approach is very calm and relaxing.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have eleven years experience working in a counselling setting working privately and within Educational & Health settings. I have worked closely with young people, students, adults, families and outside agencies offering support and guidance. I am passionate and committed about the emotional health and well-being of every person and I believe that everyone is equal. I have also gained valuable experience working with children who have special educational needs and have delivered and adapted interventions to tailor and meet their needs.
I have worked therapeutically in a primary setting with a wide range of clients, adults, and young people who presented complex issues such as anxiety, mental health, depression, drug and alcohol misuse, relationship breakdown, historical abuse and suicide ideation. I also have a variety of experience working and receiving referrals from doctors , solicitors and outside agencies offering therapeutic approaches . Currently I am working with a variety of Companies through E.A.P ( Employment Assistance Programme ) helping Employee's to maintain and return back to the workplace after either short and long term absences.
Aside from my private work within the clinic. I have also worked with students in a pupil referral unit and a emotional, social and well being unit, offering support, guidance and alternative strategies to a positive outcome. My experience also consists of working with staff in an education setting offering them support too. I am also Team Teach trained .I have attended and delivered workshops on Self-Harm and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I have experience working privately as a Occupational Therapist offering short and long term therapy and reintroducing clients back into the workplace.
I have a post-graduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy, from Liverpool John Moores University. This qualification is accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also qualified in Hypnotherapy (Dip HSM, Dip AH, Master Practioner, Dip NLP, and Certificate Life Coaching.)
I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and on the BACP register for Counsellors and psychotherapists. I also have my own personal liability insurance which enables me to practice safely and ethically and adhere to their ethical framework. I also hold a current and updated DBS.

From Jan 2nd 2018 Heswall Clinic has extended their opening hours to three late nights a week.
Tuesday 9am- 8pm
All other times and days remain the same .
The clinic is accesible by public transport and there is parking closeby.
£45.00 for counselling individuals 9am -4pm £50 per evening sessions 5pm-8pm. £60 couples £50 per session weekend.
I offer a concessional rate for the unwaged, Trainee Counsellors/ Students and O.A.P .
