I have eleven years experience working in a counselling setting working privately and within Educational & Health settings. I have also gained valuable experience working with children who have special educational needs and have delivered and adapted interventions to tailor and meet their needs.

I have worked therapeutically in a primary setting with a wide range of clients, adults, and young people who presented complex issues such as anxiety, mental health, depression, drug and alcohol misuse, relationship breakdown, historical abuse and suicide ideation. I also have a variety of experience working and receiving referrals from doctors , solicitors and outside agencies offering therapeutic approaches . Currently I am working with a variety of Companies  through E.A.P  ( Employment Assistance Programme ) helping Employee's to maintain and return back to the workplace after either short and long term absences. I am also working closely with clients who experience Tinnitus .

Aside from my private work within the clinic.  I have also worked with students in a pupil referral unit and a emotional, social and well being unit, offering support, guidance and alternative strategies to a positive outcome. Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
