About me

I am passionate about helping individuals explore their relational patterns, heal from past wounds, and build a deeper understanding of themselves and their connections with others. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, or simply wish to understand yourself better, I provide a safe and nurturing space where transformation can take place.

About Me
As an Integrative Counsellor my work is built on the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters trust, safety, and openness. I believe that the quality of our relationships with others and ourselves has a profound impact on our mental and emotional well-being. In our sessions, I will support you in exploring these dynamics, helping you understand how your past experiences shape your present relationships, and providing you with the tools to create healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I use a variety of techniques from different therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, person-centred, and mindfulness-based approaches, to help you navigate your challenges and work towards healing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BA (Hons) in Integrative-Relational Counselling, and I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their code of ethics. I am committed to further personal development to ensure my skills and knowledge continue to hold up the high standards of the BACP.

I have experience of working in an NHS GP surgery and have dealt with issues such as: loneliness, anxiety, low mood, domestic abuse, trauma, grief, depression, PTSD, agoraphobia, neurodiversity, relationships issues, self-harm, body issues, negative self-image, anger, stress, masculinity issues, and abuse.

I work with adults over 18 years old in weekly sessions both long and short term from my office in Chobham high street. There is a car park nearby that offers 1-hour free parking.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
