About me

Hello and welcome, I am Nichola a BACP registered psychotherapist/counsellor. I am a friendly and approachable person. I am passionate about helping you find the freedom to overcome any problems you may be having. I offer psychotherapy in a confidential environment allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

Sometimes life can become challenging and you may be feeling 'stuck' in  patterns of behaviour that are not helping you. In working with me you can have an open and honest conversation about any issues that are causing you distress, stress and unhappiness.  The aim of therapy is to improve your quality of life and have a better relationship with yourself and others.

It is my belief that we do not have to live lives that are limited by depressed, anxious, defeated, self limiting or ashamed beliefs. I provide a safe space to make the changes you desire. I feel confident that working within a therapeutic relationship changes lives.

Maybe your life does feel 'good enough' but you want to develop more insight into your relationships, or improve your communication skills. Have you ever tried to deal with things on your own and felt like it is not enough? You may have something really specific you want to discuss, it may be something that happened in your past, or worries about your future.

As an integrative therapist I am able to use different tools which enables me to tailor my approach to suit your needs. I believe when your not in a good place mentally, everything in life can feel overwhelming.

I guess if your reading this, the time has come to seek help.  Psychotherapy can really help you and prevent you from feeling alone.  We can work together to where life feels more enjoyable again. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
