About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist providing a space to allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings, to help support you to create positive change for yourself.
You may be feeling out of sorts, anxious, depressed, struggling in a relationship or generally fed up. I believe choosing to see a psychotherapist is a brave step to take and it can feel really daunting. I am a supportive, kind and honest person and believe psychotherapy can be life changing.
I am a friendly, warm, kind and approachable therapist. I have a particular interest in anxiety, low mood and depression. Anxiety can be particularly debilitating in life and I have completed many additional trainings to support the presentation of anxiety.
I work within a integrative model of therapy drawing on transactional analysis, CBT, person centred, attachment theory, internal family systems and many trauma based modalities.
Psychotherapy can create positive change for you in your life, using the right tools at the right time can help create a change in your thoughts, feelings or behaviour. You may feel stuck, unsure, stressed or suffering with burnout and need to explore a different perspective. Simply being heard in a therapy setting can help support you to create the changes you desire for your life.
Life can be really stressful and challenging and I offer an empathetic ear. I have a special interest in anxiety, fear based thinking and the breakdown of parental relationships.
I have trained in somatic healing modalities, somatic simply means body. To be able to understand the impact of our emotions, thoughts and feelings on your body and how your body responds to your mind is key to creating long, lasting change. This is an important and integral part of my work and is leading the way in mental health.
I am happy to speak to you on the phone to discuss your needs further. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
