About me
Welcome to C.A.L.M.
I am an accredited member of the N.C.P.S and practising as an Integrative Counsellor.
This is a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies as there is no single approach that can support each client in all situations.
I am also trained to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (C.B.T) which can be useful for specific issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management and Negative Thinking Patterns.
I have considerable experience (20 years) working with Adults, Children, (age 11 to 18) Family Mediation and Couples Counselling at your home, in private practise or in a school setting.
Within these roles I have worked with a wide range of topics which include Anxiety, Low Self Esteem, Stress Bereavement and Loss, Depression, Self Harm O.C.D Bullying, Relationship Issues, Emotional Abuse, amongst many others.
I offer a service that is confidential caring and compassionate. I use a range of therapeutic techniques that ensure your sessions are tailored to your needs. I will listen and help you explore what is worrying you. We will work together at your pace and explore possibilities for change.
For you to feel heard and valued in our therapeutic relationship is very important to me.
Long lasting solutions can be achieved by making small positive changes to enable you to enhance the quality of your life.
