About me
My name is Nathalie Salaun, I am a chartered Counselling Psychologist specialising in the treatment of Stress, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessional Disorders, Perfectionism, Self-esteem and Relationship difficulties, using Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness approach to therapy. I offer group and one-to-one therapy online.
Our pace of life is getting faster and it is not surprising that we feel under pressure. When faced with difficult situations, transitions at work and in our private life, we may experience symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, anger, jealousy, guilt, shame and any other naturally occurring negative emotions. This may result in a loss of confidence, self-esteem, motivation and negative patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving.
When these negative thoughts, moods, behaviours and physiological reactions begin to negatively impact our relationships, our work, our quality of life, now may be a good time to do something about it.
Using Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness approach to therapy, I can help and support you by teaching you new skills and working with you to develop a more helpful, healthier attitude towards life difficulties.
My approach to treatment is tailored to each individual whether on a one-to-one or group basis. Groups are designed and structured to provide a safe and supportive space where each participant can learn and develop at their own pace and give participants access to specialised treatment at a reduced cost as compared to individual therapy.
My training as a chartered counselling psychologist allows me the flexibility to draw on a wide range of psychological theories and practices. My expertise in using Cognitive and Behavioural therapy and Mindfulness for the treatment of all major psychological disorders comes from working in different settings: inpatient, outpatient and community based services, within the private sector and within the NHS.
I have 15 years + experience in the CBT treatment of all major mental health problems. I started my private practice in central London in 2005 where I currently offer online video sessions Monday to Thursday via Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime and Zoom at a competitive rate. I am Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS) registered.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully, qualified in 2005, Chartered Counselling Psychologists: BSc, Msc, CPsychol, and my main approach to treatment is Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.

I then worked within the NHS, in a secondary care setting, offering specialist CBT treatment for all major Mental Heaslth problems, with individuals and groups, before setting up my private practice in Central London. Since I receive regular training and supervision.
My training as a Mindfulness teacher is ongoing and is taking place at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University and I receive regular supervision.

Additional information
I have a fixed fee for day time and evening appointment that reflect my expertise and the short term nature of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Individual therapy costs £130 per 50 minute session.
Group therapy costs £80 per two hour session.
However, if you are a student, unemployed or on low income, I am open to negotiate a concession rate that can suit as both. These lower fee appointments, usually take place via video call and are very popular, hence, they are offered on a first come, first served basis and there is a limit as to how many concessions I am able to offer at any one time.
I encourage you to get in touch by text or email, to arrange a free initial 20 minutes telephone consultation, so that you can tell me a little bit about the difficulties you are experiencing and I can explain how I would work with you so you can then decide if I am the right therapist for you.
