About me

As an experienced HCPC and MBACP registered Art Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor - I provide support to trainee therapists, students and qualified mental health professionals seeking to develop their clinical practice. In addition, I provide therapeutic support to individual clients (adults and young people), couples, families and groups seeking to improve their mental health.

Available platforms: telephone, virtual, email exchange or face to face at my private studio.

Training, qualifications & experience

My experience includes working within private practice as well as various mental health services and charities within the Midlands.

I offer an integrative approach including art therapy, solution focused and psychodynamic therapy. See http://www.baat.org for further information specifically on art therapy.

As an Art Psychotherapist and Counsellor - my role is not to give advice but to proactively listen, support and provide a safe and non-judgemental space in which you can explore any difficulty that you may be experiencing.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
