Hi, my name is Natalie and I am an experienced, qualified counsellor in the Nuneaton area. I work privately with adults and children aged 13 and above.
I see people from all walks of life who are struggling with different issues which are impacting on their lives.
Some of the issues I work with include depression and feeling of sadness, anxiety, stress, lack of motivation, burnout, difficult relationships and breakdowns, family issues, loss, grief and bereavement, abuse, pregnancy and miscarriage, body image issues, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
Sometimes people who come to see me can’t pinpoint what it is that is troubling them, but they know that they don’t feel right and aren’t as happy with life as they feel they should be. This is quite common; counselling can help you to make sense of what you are going through.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on different approaches including Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Approaches (SFA) and Relaxation, depending on what your needs are.
I have particular experience in working with young people. I also have a lot of experience in working with those who have suffered from rape or sexual abuse.
I have returned to working face-to-face indoors. I am also continuing to work online (via zoom), on the telephone or through 'walk and talk' sessions in a local green space which is a popular alternative to meeting face-to-face indoors.
Contact me to book a session or to discuss how counselling could help you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
