About me
You might look like you’re coping on the outside…
but inside, everything feels exhausting, overwhelming, or just not quite right.
Maybe you’re overthinking everything.
Second-guessing yourself.
Feeling stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift.
Or perhaps you’ve reached a point in your life where you’re asking:
“How did I get here… and how do I change it?”
You’re in the right place if:
- You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on edge”
- You overthink decisions and struggle to trust yourself
- You’re dealing with low self-esteem or confidence
- You feel disconnected from who you are or what you want
- You’re navigating a life transition (career, motherhood, relationships)
- You’re tired of holding everything together for everyone else
I have 17 years experience in therapy, and I use CBT in a way that feels human, practical, and tailored to you - not rigid or clinical.
Together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected, and begin to gently shift the patterns that are keeping you stuck.
This might include:
- Understanding and changing unhelpful thinking patterns
- Reducing worry and overthinking
- Building confidence and self-trust
- Learning how to respond differently to difficult thoughts and feelings
- Making decisions with more clarity and less fear
My approach:
I won’t sit in silence and nod.
I’m warm, collaborative, and actively involved in our work together.
I’ll help you understand what’s going on - and give you tools that actually make a difference in your day-to-day life.
I also bring a strong understanding of how life experiences, expectations, and pressures can shape the way we see ourselves - especially for women navigating multiple roles and responsibilities.
Next steps
Reaching out can feel like a big step - especially if you’re used to managing everything on your own.
If you’re ready to start making sense of things and create real change, you’re very welcome to get in touch and book your intro call with me.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked as a CBT therapist for over 17 years across the NHS, private practice, and specialist trauma services, including working with the London Fire Brigade.
Alongside my therapy work, I am the founder of Reconnect Sisterhood - a space supporting women to reconnect with their identity, values, and confidence.
I am also currently training to become a Mindfulness Teacher with Bangor University.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
