About me
I'm Nataleigh Strasburg, a psychotherapist based in London offering online or in-person therapy.
You may be feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or with a particular concern you wish to explore. I provide a calm and confidential space where you can share your thoughts and feelings and be supported in a caring environment.
Reaching out for help is the first step in knowing you are not alone. Therapy can be a space to reflect and process where you are in your life, how you got there and importantly, where you may want to go next.
My style
My approach is warm, relational and holistic. My integrative and transpersonal training philosophy means I draw on different therapy approaches so we can find out what works best for you. Each person is treated as an individual and we will focus on nurturing your relationship with yourself and developing awareness.
I am happy working short-term if you have a specific concern you would like to focus on, or long-term psychotherapy for those wishing to deepen their journey of self-discovery. I provide a reliable, non-judgemental presence as we build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Next steps
The decision to begin therapy can feel daunting and choosing a therapist you feel able to build a relationship with is an important part of the process. To schedule a free 10-15 minute initial call or book a consultation appointment, please email me at nataleigh.psychotherapy@pm.me.
I welcome any questions you have about therapy and the next steps are always taken at your pace. If you would like to work together, we will arrange a weekly time for your 50-minute therapy session. I will invite you to share about your family history, background and what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your hopes for therapy and I will check in regularly to ensure it is working for you.
The therapy rooms at Camden Therapy are a welcoming space in the heart of Camden Town. I am available for sessions 10 am - 5 pm in-person or via Zoom.
I look forward to hearing from you and how I might be able to help.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London. My formal training is in Integrative and Transpersonal Psychotherapy. I have specialist trauma training in supporting those who have suffered emotional, physical or sexual abuse in childhood.
I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by the ethical framework established in their professional Code of Ethics.
I am committed to offering an inclusive practice that supports all ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, religious preferences, physical abilities, sexual orientations and gender identities.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
