About me
Are you struggling with life events or relationships? Or perhaps you’re feeling lost or frustrated? It may be that want to explore your feelings, emotions, thoughts, behaviour, and want a space to feel heard and understood.
How ever you may be feeling, you don’t have to struggle on your own. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgemental environment to support you. I can support you in having a better understanding of yourself and finding your own ways to cope.
I am a member of the BACP which means I follow a set of standards to work with you safely and ethically. I follow the person-centred approach, which means you are at the centre of the counselling. We are both equals within the relationship, and as your counsellor, I am there to support you in empowering yourself.
I predominantly work online but can also offer face to face sessions in the Luton town centre. Alongside my private practice I am employed with a young people’s counselling service, where I provide support and counselling to children and young adults aged 13 to 25. For many years I also worked for a Domestic Abuse charity/Women’s centre, and worked with a wide range of difficulties.
The thought of starting counselling can feel scary, but it can also be exciting and a relief. I offer a free 15-minute consultation for new clients interested in booking sessions to help you decide if we are the right fit for one another and to answer any questions you may have.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
