Hi, my name is Nadia, and I am a person-centered therapist working in private practice in North West London. I offer face to face and online Zoom sessions. I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of psychological presentations but have a special interest in working with young people, bereavement, anxiety, depression, and past trauma. 

How does counselling work

  am an experienced therapeutic counsellor,specializing in person-centered therapy with a proven track record of delivering high-quality counselling services to clients. With years of hands-on experience, I have developed a deep understanding of various theoretical counselling approaches and their practical implementation in real-world settings. Having completed training in a wider range of issues such as trauma work,anxiety, bereavement, abusiverelationships,eating disorders and more. I adhere to a professional and ethical framework in all interactions with clients and colleagues. My expertise lies in maintainingclient confidentiality, establishing and upholding professional boundaries, and effectively communicating with empathy and sensitivity. I excel in creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients by building strong and trusting relationships, utilizing a compassionate person-centered approach to address their mental well-being needs. With a keen interest in supporting individuals through their emotional challenges, I am dedicated to providing person-centered care to facilitatehealing and growth.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I am a person-centred therapist working in private practice in Mill Hill, North West London. I have extensive experience working with adolescence and adults enabling them to overcome difficulties such as  family issues, trauma, anxiety bullying depression, and supporting them to build more fulfilling lives.

I know it can be difficult choosing a therapist, so I offer a free 20 minute zoom initial consultation where we can discuss your needs and see if you would like to work together.
