About me

I’m a BACP-registered person-centred counsellor offering a calm, supportive space for adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected within. You may appear to be coping on the outside, while internally struggling with anxiety, low mood, or patterns in relationships that are hard to break.

I combine compassionate, non-judgemental therapy with a depth of psychological understanding to help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. My work supports you to recognise patterns, build clarity, and reconnect with a stronger, more grounded sense of self.

For those who want a more focused approach, I also offer a structured 7-week programme designed to facilitate clarity, direction, and meaningful change.

If you’re ready for therapy that offers both depth and forward movement, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a registered member of the BACP, working in line with their ethical framework. My training is grounded in person-centred therapy and informed by trauma-aware practice, with an understanding of how psychological distress can impact both the mind and nervous system.

I have experience working with adults and teenagers presenting with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relational challenges, identity exploration, and the effects of trauma. This includes supporting individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, PTSD, displacement, and cultural or identity-related difficulties.

I work sensitively with the impact these experiences can have on a person’s sense of self, relationships, and emotional wellbeing, offering a safe and non-judgemental space to explore and process them at your own pace.

Alongside my core therapeutic training, I integrate psychological insight with reflective approaches to support clients in developing clarity, self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

My work is grounded in the belief that even within chaos, there is meaning, and that with the right support, confusion can begin to transform into clarity. I offer a space where emotions are not something to be suppressed or feared, but understood, processed, and used as a guide for change.

Alongside a compassionate, person-centred approach, I integrate psychological insight, neuroscience-informed understanding, and philosophical reflection. This allows us to explore not only what you’re feeling, but why, and how those experiences can be worked with in a way that supports growth, self-awareness, and lasting change.

For those seeking a more focused and intentional process, I can offer a structured way of working that supports you to move through emotional blocks, recognise patterns, and develop a clearer, more grounded sense of direction.

If you’re looking for a space that offers both depth and forward movement, you’re welcome to get in touch.
