About me
Hello, welcome to my page.
I am an HCPC Registered Music Psychotherapist. I specialise in working with children, young people, and adults. I offer online Music Therapy Sessions and Counselling Sessions.
I am currently a Lead Counsellor and Music Therapist at the University of South Wales and a Music Therapist at CF Music Education. Many of the clients I work with have complex emotional needs, and some are neurodivergent.
I am mindful and empathetic, and I work closely with individuals and support them on their journey to mental and emotional wellness. My approach is rooted in understanding and support, helping clients navigate their unique challenges and empowering them to foster resilience and growth.
I am also a Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness and Breathwork Practitioner. I integrate these mindful practices and focus on improving mental and physical health.
Music Therapy
Music Therapy sessions provide the opportunity for the individual to express themselves and communicate through music. Music activates the brain and body and offers powerful opportunities for communication, connection, embodiment, and reflection.
Counselling
I take an integrative approach, tailoring my use of various therapeutic methods to best support my clients and the specific issues they wish to explore. I see each individual as a whole person, not just in terms of their presenting concerns. This means my approach acknowledges and works with all four dimensions of humanity: emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual.
