About me

I offer support for high-functioning adults who struggle with anxiety, stress, grief or neurodiversity despite appearing "fine". You might be the person everyone relies on, while secretly feeling exhausted yourself. Your mind rarely switches off, and even when life looks fine from the outside, you're carrying constant tension, anxiety or self-doubt.

If you’re struggling with low mood, past experiences, or simply feeling lost, you don’t have to face it alone.

I work with adults experiencing:

* Anxiety and stress

* Depression and low mood

* Neurodiversity

* Relationship difficulties

* Grief, loss, or life transitions, including going through difficult diagnosis,

* Self-esteem and identity challenges,

* Past or unresolved experiences

* Feeling stuck, lost, or lacking direction

My approach

I use a flexible, collaborative style of therapy. We find what works best for you and can use different techniques depending on your needs. You are the expert in your own life and are actively involved in shaping the process, I’m here to support you.

Clients often come to me wanting to:

* Feel calmer and more in control

* Understand and break unhelpful patterns

* Build confidence and self-worth

* Process difficult or past experiences

* Improve relationships with themselves and others

* Find clarity, direction, or a sense of purpose

 Initial consultation

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free introductory conversation (30 minutes online or by phone) where we can discuss your needs, answer any questions, and see whether we feel like the right fit. There's no pressure or obligation to continue.

My Experience
I have experience working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, supporting clients aged 18 to 89 and counting!

My clinical experience includes working as a counsellor within a GP practice, where I supported clients presenting with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

Alongside my clinical work, I have also mentored university students, providing emotional, mental health and neurodiversity support and helping them navigate the personal and academic challenges that can arise during higher education.

In addition to working in established clinical settings, I run a private practice, where I work with adults experiencing a variety of concerns and deliver psychoeducational workshops to groups in my community, about emotional and mental wellbeing and communication.

Working with people across different ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances has strengthened my ability to offer a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
