About me
I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, offering professional warmth and safety. I draw on different types of therapy, including Person-centred & CBT, adapting my approach to suit your specific needs. I can support clients experiencing issues such as anxiety, psychological burnout, bereavement, stress, anger issues, along with challenges associated with autism, ADHD and OCD. I also support people in recovery from addictions, including drugs, alcohol and gambling.
Neuro-affirming
I have extensive lived experience of neurodiversity and Diplomas in Understanding Autism & ADHD - I welcome clients who see the world differently, no diagnosis necessary. Working with Parents of Neurodivergent Children, understanding and supporting their mental and emotional load is something I'm passionate about. I understand the depth and complexity of this relationship and see how it can leave parents constantly living on the edge of burnout.
Addiction Support
I have spent nearly 2 years working with clients in early recovery from addiction, working on maintenance and self-acceptance. Therapy that supports clients in limbo between active addiction and re-establishing a connection with themselves and the world around them.
Healing in Therapy
Many of my adult clients are processing childhood trauma, including emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Disclosing trauma that has been stored over many years can leave you feeling exposed and vulnerable. My experience has taught me that offering clients unconditional positive regard and acceptance can be life-affirming and transformative in the healing process.
Media Experience
I have previous experience in the television and media industry, so I also understand the unique pressures of life in the public domain. If you have a public profile, value your privacy and feel uncertain about exploring therapy, then give me a call, and I can walk you through my protective process.
Location Information
I have my own private counselling room based in Hornchurch. easy access from the Elizabeth Line, just a 10-minute walk from Gidea Park station and only 2 minutes from bus routes 370 & 165.
