About me
I am an MNCPS Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor passionate about helping you navigate life’s challenges with empathy and care.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent years travelling the world, embracing a hedonistic lifestyle that was exhilarating at times but ultimately left me unfulfilled. That journey of self-discovery led me to realise that true contentment doesn’t come for me from constant external pursuits but from understanding myself and the choices I make.
This belief—our incredible capacity to think, change, and shape our own destiny—is at the heart of my practice. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore issues like anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and personal growth.
Together, we’ll work at your own pace to uncover your experiences, values, and strengths, empowering you to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the Connexus Institute (2024) and a Certificate Award in Counselling Skills and Theory from Brighton Metropolitan College (2021).
My academic background also includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Media Studies from Complutense University, Madrid (1987).
I have experience as a counsellor with MindOut, supporting LGBTQ+ individuals with a range of mental health challenges. Additionally, I have worked for four years as a Patient Advisor for the NHS, providing guidance and support to individuals navigating healthcare services. These roles have deepened my understanding of the complexities of mental health and reinforced my commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for clients.
My experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and personal growth; supporting clients in both individual and couples therapy settings.
