About me
I have been a therapist for over ten years and have completed a degree in Humanistic therapy at Chichester university recently. In the past, I worked in theatre and therefore blend creative methods into my practice, such as art, games, messy play and role play. I have worked extensively with children, young people and families as well as adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
My room in Blandford offers a space to process your inner emotions with an eclectic mix of games and art, but also just the space and time needed to be yourself in a world that expects you to be on top of everything. Talking through matters is always welcome if the creative space is too much.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a 2:1 in Humanistic Therapy alongside my original diploma. I also hold a diploma in Neuro dramatic play, which uses messy play, role play, and other developmental learning to assist in the process of working through trauma or neuro divergency via the senses. My work has always been centred around young people and families or adults that have experienced childhood trauma. I have been developing this practice in Blandford for six years, but I have also had experience of working within schools both as a therapist and a TA.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
