About me
Accessing counselling can feel overwhelming. Well done for taking the first leap. I am a qualified, integrative counsellor offering a professional, yet comfortable, informal and caring setting for clients in Streetly, Sutton Coldfield. I also offer online, telephone and home visit counselling services. Being an integrative therapist allows me to call on a variety of different theories and strategies to support the individual needs of the client.
If you would like to contact me, there are various ways of doing this - drop me a text, email or a phone call (there is an answering service) and I will reply as soon as I can. I am happy to have an introductory phone call before our first appointment. These can be really useful to both of us.
First appointments are all about me initially getting to know you in as much detail as I can. I often refer to it as 'blowing up a balloon', but instead of it being full of air, it's full of information about you. Some information covered has to include contracting and confidentiality but then it's over to you, with my guidance, to tell me about yourself. This is done in a very nonjudgemental and empathetic way and at your own pace. No one will rush you, nor do you have to disclose anything you don't feel you want to at that point.
The most important person is you, and it is important that you feel that I am the right counsellor for you. I really hope that I am. Get in touch.

Sessions are £50 for 50 minutes.
(Home visits may have an additional cost depending on traveling time/distance.)
Appointments are available throughout the day from Monday to Friday and early evenings (last appointment session is 7pm) from Monday to Thursday. I am also available on a Saturday morning. Evening and Saturday morning appointments can be more limited because of popularity. If sessions were not available at your convenience, I am always happy to take contact details and get back in touch with you when a client session becomes available.
When I work
I have a flexible working calendar Monday to Friday from early morning 'til approx. 7pm. I also work on a Saturday morning. I can fit clients into available sessions at their request.
Further information
I have two designated counselling rooms at home. Access is separate from the house and is on one level to ease accessibility. There is ample parking on my private driveway.
