About me

Working in person and online

I am passionate about helping my clients navigate life's challenges and discover their inner strengths. Whether you're facing specific issues or simply seeking personal growth, I am here to provide support, guidance and a listening ear.

There are times in our life where we can feel like we are a bit stuck in a problem, issue or feeling. Or that we are going round in circles not sure of the best way to move forward. Or feel alone in our issue.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, challenging or just plain joyless.

Having the right therapist to talk things through with and explore the parts that feel difficult can help you to not only find away through this but to also find your inner confidence and strength so you can begin to thrive again.

It may be you are living with the effects of trauma or having issues in a relationship. Experiencing a feeling of anxiousness or not feeling good enough.

Perhaps you would like to explore unhelpful thinking or behaviour patterns or why a sense of heaviness or sadness is weighing you down.

Is something in your past is holding you back from living the life you want?

Or maybe it is an issue in your life at the moment, that is causing you emotional pain or worry.

Whatever difficulty you are experiencing I am passionate about helping you and I offer you my experience and my developed skills to help and support.

I offer you a inclusive, non-judgemental and objective space to unpack, explore and process your thoughts, experiences and feelings.  Working with all genders to feel better and more confident.

I will listen carefully and calmly, with respect and warmth aiding you to gain a better understanding of your personal situation and a way for you to move in the direction you want.

Whatever has shaped your story , you don't have to figure things out alone.

A little about me

I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor.  This means that I work in a Person Centred way (led by you and your experiences) but I also draw from other counselling models in our work together such as CBT and TA.  I also bring all my experience, training and knowledge from my ongoing work .

Within my private practice I see people from all walks of life with a wide range of worries and issues such as sexual, emotional abuse, anxiety, low self esteem, PTSD, loss, self-injury and issues in relationships.

I also work for a Charity that provides support for men, woman and children that have experienced the trauma of sexual assault and/or abuse. In this role I work with clients who have experienced childhood trauma and also people who have experiences of more recent domestic and/or sexual violence.

I am a registered member of the National Counselling Society and work to their code of ethics. I’m fully insured and hold a current DBS Certificate.

What's next

I understand that it can sometimes feel a bit daunting to reach out  but please be reassured that I am here to help and happy to answer any questions you may have about taking the next steps or how I can help you.  Then if you decide to move forward we can arrange a session either in person or online whichever one you decide works best for you.

What to Expect
