About me
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your true self?
Life can feel heavy at times. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, burnout, or simply feeling lost—you’re not alone.
You might be:
Exhausted from putting on a brave face or hiding how you really feel
Struggling with day-to-day life in a way that others don’t seem to understand
Feeling like you’re not where you “should” be, or constantly falling short
Longing to be seen, heard, and accepted for who you really are
Tired of advice that doesn’t help or reassurances that don’t quite land.
Counselling can help you untangle what’s going on beneath the surface—and offer space to breathe, reflect, and begin feeling more like you again.
What if you had a space where...
- You didn’t need to perform, explain, or justify how you feel
- You were met with empathy and curiosity, not judgment
- You could speak freely and honestly, even if you’re not sure where to begin
- You could explore the patterns in your life—and how they’ve shaped you
That’s what I offer: a space that’s calm, grounded, and fully focused on you.
Why work with me?
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to drop the mask and just be. I bring warmth, presence, and genuine respect for the courage it takes to show up and be vulnerable.
I have particular experience supporting people who feel out of step with the world around them—whether due to anxiety, depression, past trauma, or neurodivergence (diagnosed or not). If you’ve ever felt like you’re “too much,” “not enough,” or like no one really gets it—you’re in the right place.
Being alongside someone as they open up and begin to reconnect with their sense of self is something I never take for granted. It’s powerful, and it’s possible.
What working together looks like
We'll create a therapeutic space that feels steady and supportive—somewhere you can explore whatever’s coming up, at your own pace.
As we talk, you might start noticing patterns—recurring thoughts, behaviours, or feelings—and begin to understand yourself in new ways. That self-understanding can be a powerful step toward healing, change, or simply more ease in your day-to-day life.
I offer a free 30-minute initial conversation so we can get a feel for what working together might be like.
Sessions are available in person in Leeds, or remotely via video call or telephone—whichever works best for you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
