Further information
After previously working in education and mental health I decided to retrain as a counsellor as I identified an increasing need for therapeutic intervention with my clients and the sometimes life changing and positive impact this had on individuals. I do pride myself in my natural ability to build up a positive rapport with my clients, while being able to offer a safe, non - judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. Together, we will work towards greater self - awareness, resilience and positive change. If this is the support you are looking for, I invite you to take the first step towards a more balanced and fulfilling life. Feel free to reach out - I am here to listen.
Testimonial:- ' With Mia's support, I realised that it was OK to feel the way I did about my Mum's dementia and how that impacted on our relationship and my life and our family dynamics overall. With her help I was also able to work on the increasing guilt I felt at needing and wanting time for myself away from the increasing caring responsibilities for my mum and support for my father, who was struggling also. When counselling ended, I felt more like the old me, confident in my decisions and able to work on my career, which had been on hold since my mums diagnosis'.
