About me

Hello and welcome to my profile.  My name is Keri and I support people who have experienced some kind of trauma in their early life which is still affecting them today.

Unmanaged trauma can have a real impact on your life everyday affecting your health, happiness, and relationships.  As a parent you might find your children are quite wary of you because of the way you react to them.  Romantic relationships may suffer with lots of arguing, difficulty connecting.   Reaching out can be the first gentle step toward meaningful change.

The great thing about the human givens approach is that it looks at where you are now, where you want to move to and what you might need to add in/change in your life to make it work better for you.  You should start to notice that you feel better in a relatively short period of time.

If there is something that might be affecting the way you react or relate to people which has happened  in the past I will help you to process it so that your brain puts it right back in your past where it should be.

If you want to move forward and rebuild your life in a healthier way with tools you can use to keep things stable why not get in touch.

Why should you choose me?

I know how effective the Human Givens approach can be, not only because I am a therapist but through my own life experience.  In times where I have had periods of overthinking, or my sleep has been out of balance because I am stressed I know I have tools that work to get me back on track again.  A lot of support for mental health is very much about managing a crisis and I want to help you get off the roller coaster and live a calmer, more balanced life rather than being so reactive.

I support clients with Intergenerational trauma, early childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, trauma, and bereavement.

What do others think?

"Just want to say a huge thank you to Keri. Not only has she given me my life back, but she has also given me the tools to keep it on track.  Truly a wonderful, kind and compassionate person.  My only regret is not seeing her sooner.  If you think you may be ready to try therapy, I would highly recommend giving it a go, and I hope you have as much success with it as I have.  If you like what you read, why not get in touch to book a chat today?"

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Human Givens Therapist, and have been running my private practice since 2022.  Alongside this, I work as a school mental health practitioner, where I lead on the school's mental health strategy.  This includes supporting parents and young people.  I often work as the bridge between parents and young people.

In my role, I work daily with challenges such as self-sabotage, bullying, anxiety, self‑harm, panic attacks, and emotional overwhelm. I support children, teens, and adults who are both neurotypical and neurodiverse, offering a safe and understanding space for each person’s unique needs.

In 2024, I contributed as an author to the collaborative book Children’s Mental Health Matters, which became a top‑two Amazon bestseller at launch.

I have worked with PTSD Resolution, a national charity supporting veterans, and Traumaticus, which has deepened my understanding of trauma and recovery.

Continual development is central to my practice. I regularly attend advanced training to ensure I’m offering the most effective, up‑to‑date support. Recent CPD includes:

  • Self-Compassion
  • ADHD Coaching (2025)
  • Guided Imagery II – Essential Techniques (2024)
  • How to Reduce Self‑Harm (2024)
  • Grief and Bereavement (2023)
  • How to Work Effectively with Troubled Teenagers.

In addition to my clinical work, I run a funded parent support group, helping parents of teens who are struggling with their mental health. This group meets provides a welcoming space for parents to share experiences, gain confidence, and feel supported.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’m here to offer calm, practical, and compassionate help. If you’d like to know more, you’re warmly invited to get in touch.
