About me

I am a UKCP Registered psychotherapist, supervisor and tutor. I offer a range of therapies to suit client’s needs. I work with adults, individuals, and couples on a short, medium, and long-term basis, online and face to face from my private practice.

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons. Some want specific support following a bereavement, relationship issues, work issues, anxiety, depression, gender concerns, low self-esteem or a lack of confidence. Other people feel generally overwhelmed with the challenges that life brings.

Whatever your need I offer a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can talk about what's worrying you without the fear of being judged, so you feel heard and valued. I am passionate about psychotherapy and believe that it enables people to make meaning out of their problems so that they can take informed decisions about what they want to do to bring about change in their lives.

I live and work in Paddock Wood Kent. My practice has free parking and is within walking distance of Paddock Wood train station.

I offer an initial free consultation where you can see how you experience working with me.

I have a small number of reduced cost sessions available for clients on a low income.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and Supervisor and as such I have undergone extensive and rigorous training. I also have a Diploma in Counselling and a Master’s degree in Inter-professional Health and Social Care.

I have over 30 years experience of working in health and the voluntary sector including 20 years of hospice experience.

I have worked with people with a variety of acute and long-term mental health conditions.

I am a member of United Kingdom Association of Transactional Analysis (UKATA) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and as such abide by their code of ethics.
