About me

Thank you for visiting my page, I am a fully qualified,  BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) accredited and registered Psychotherapist specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Starting therapy is a significant step, and it is completely normal to feel unsure about how to begin or choose the right practitioner. My goal is to provide a collaborative, supportive space where you feel heard, gain personal clarity, and start creating meaningful change. Together, we will look at the whole picture, exploring how your thoughts, physical well-being, and day-to-day environment connect, while focusing on the present moment and looking at the past where needed.

I work with:
Individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, low mood, and trauma. I also have a specific passion for treating OCD, as well as managing the emotional toll, physical pain, and identity reconstruction that often accompanies long-term physical health conditions.

To best support you:
My style is highly personalised and integrates both behavioural and somatic approaches, drawing on evidence-based frameworks like Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT).

Ultimately, the goal of our work together is to ensure you leave therapy equipped with concrete, practical skills you can confidently use to navigate your future self and future challenges. There is no rush and this process is to be taken with grace and kindness.

Taking that first step is often the hardest part, which is why I offer a free, informal 20-minute consultation call. This is a no-obligation chat for us to connect, discuss your goals, and see if we are the right fit for your journey. To arrange a chat, please feel free to reach out to me at MH_Therapy@outlook.com  - 01865 638913
