About us

We all experience some difficulties in our situation and life; which can cause confusion, stress, anxiety and may make us feel down. We may face depression, relationship difficulties or feel stuck in our direction. You may want to seek someone to talk to in confidence to help you with your situation.

I am qualified as a Person Centred Therapist and trained in C.B.T and Mindfulness.
I have several years experience of working as a Counsellor. I can help you to seek clarity and or help you come to a solution with the difficulties you may bring to the sessions. I can offer long and short term therapy.

My approach is holistic to the client; taking into consideration of the client's emotions, body and mind and offer a non judgmental approach to the way I work.

I believe that the relationship between the Counsellor and the client built on trust and in a safe environment can be effective in helping people to talk about their difficulties and help to facilitate change.

I provide 1-1 Counselling to clients of all backgrounds and with various issues; including depression, anxiety, low self esteem, abuse and others.
I have experience of working in specialist areas such as Mental Health, Bereavement and Loss, Learning Disabilities, Relationship/marital issues, Cultural and other general areas.

I have over years of working in the local community. I have a deeper insight in the issues that may be affecting an individual and have a wide range of experience, knowledge and support that I may be able to offer including complex issues affecting you. I have a very empathetic and warm personality to be able to help you connect and support you through the difficulties you may have.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
