About me

Mary Watson Psychodynamic Counsellor MBACP (Accred)

I offer brief and long term one to one counselling for adults and young people 18+

I work with a wide range of issues such as: relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self esteem, work-related problems, as well as the many other issues which may be impacting your quality of life and emotional wellbeing.
My approach is mostly Psychodynamic, but also informed by a number of counselling models.
Looking at problems in the present but, crucially, at the roots of these problems in the past.
Helping you discover, identify and recognise how emotional patterns from early childhood may repeat themselves in later life in confusing or destructive ways.
You can call or email me to set up an initial session, where we can explore what you would like to get out of our sessions.

Further information

I am a qualified experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor
I offer brief and long term one to one counselling for adults and young people 18+

Alongside my private practice, I work for a Charity in Tunbridge Wells providing counselling for adults.

I can help you identify how emotional patterns from early life experience can repeat themselves in later life, and how developing personal insight and better understanding can bring about positive change.
Change in the way we view ourselves, the way we experience life and how this can impact on all of our relationships.  Sometimes we need to come to terms with loss and a whole variety of other experiences.

I can offer a secure, confidential setting in which to explore and enable, a better understanding of ourselves to develop, bringing new perspectives and opportunities for change.
