About me

Marta | Accredited Psychotherapist & Holistic Practitioner

Therapy that fits your life - not a diagnostic box.

Fed up with rigid, robotic therapy? Let’s try something different.

If you’ve ever felt stifled by the standard "tick-box" approach to mental health, you are in the right place. I’m Marta, and I have spent over a decade working professionally across every level of mental health care, from intense clinical settings to private practice. If there is one thing I have learned, it’s this: you cannot standard-issue human healing.

While I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, I don’t believe in treating you like a diagnosis. I see you as a whole person. If you are looking for a practitioner with over 11 years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist who blends evidence-based psychology with a warm, adaptive, and deeply holistic approach, let’s talk.

(Dla osób poszukujących terapii w języku ojczystym: sesje prowadzę również w języku polskim)

My Approach: Therapy, Tailored to You

Standard CBT has its place, but human beings don’t fit neatly into treatment protocols. True resilience comes from understanding your unique needs, not forcing you into a strict structure.

My practice is deeply holistic. While my background is rooted in robust psychological theory, I integrate Mindfulness, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to create a space where you can actually breathe.

Beyond traditional talking therapy, I incorporate active healing to help you create lasting, deep level change. Together, we can will work with imagery rescripting, visualisation, and the subconscious mind to understand exactly how past programming impacts your present reality. By shifting your overall belief systems and integrating this work into deeper states of meditation, we don't just manage your symptoms, we rewire how you show up in the world.

Therapy on your terms looks like:

Total Comfort: Grab a hot brew, wear your favorite loungewear, or wrap yourself in a blanket.

Active Comfort: Want to do your sessions while out for a walk getting your steps in? Let’s do it.

Grounding Spaces: Sit with your pet on your lap, or doodle and color while we explore what’s on your mind.

There are no rigid rules here. This is a cozy, confidential, and space designed for you to show up exactly as you are.

Experience Meets Intuition

With over 11 years of clinical experience spanning primary care (Talking Therapies), community mental health (CMHT), and complex tertiary services (forensic settings), I have a deep understanding of the limitations of traditional frameworks. I know how weary people can get of standard, clinical CBT.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, identity shifts, existential issues, navigating difficult relationships or simply a feeling of being stuck in a fast paced world, we will work together to harness your inner resilience. We will explore what works for your life, helping you feel content, grounded, and truly at ease with yourself.
