I am a fully qualified counsellor who has worked in various agencies supporting clients with mental health and a variety of different presenting issues. I will listen to how you feel and what you are going through. Everything we talk about will be confidential. So you are free to say how you truly feel.
My recognised qualification is a CPCAB Level Four Therapeutic Diploma in counselling. I am a registered member of the BACP and working towards accreditation. I have had years of experience working at Mind and agencies in Harlow and Cambridge and have worked with men and women. I have had experience of working with addiction , suicidal ideation ,low self-esteem,anxiety.
As a Person Centred Counsellor I will be present with the issues you bring to the session. I will apply empathy too fully understand your unique experience . I will be non judgemental and genuine with in the working relationship.
During the time we spend together you will be free to express your voice, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and get a clearer perspective of you're current situation and how to move forward .
We can use the time to explore how you feel in the here and now. Gain a deeper understanding of what you are going through. Work together to achieve the goals we have discussed in the assessment session or when we have a review . I offer short term and long term work .
I also use other approaches to help with anxiety, depression and panic attacks .CBT ( cognitive behavioural therapy) involves Interventions and techniques to gather information and gain a understanding how a limiting belief and unhelpfull thinking patterns is causing you to react to a situation . Also we can explore where the limiting belief has come from .
I can offer a free 20 minute phone assessment session where we can establish what has bought you to counselling and what you would like to achieve from the sessions. This will be at a time arranged by email or you can leave a message and I will phone you back. We can also arrange the time and date for our first counselling session.
I offer afternoon and evening sessions and free parking.

I currently work for a Harlow and Cambridge agency and have previously worked for Mind in Cambridge.
I studied at Epping Forest College.

I have also completed Several Courses on CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) by Renaissance Life Therapies which are Introduction to CBT and CBT for Depression , Anxiety, Phobias and Panic Attacks.

My fee is £35.00 and I am able to offer a fifty minute session for this.
I also offer a £30.00 hourly rate for students.
I will also offer the £30.00 hourly rate for block bookings of 3 sessions or more which we can discuss in the first session. This applies to everyone not just students. As I believe counselling should be available to everyone.
