Counselling & Coaching for Neurodivergent

About me

I'm Marion, a counsellor and coach specialising in neurodivergence, and the founder of Equalition. I work with late-diagnosed and self-identified neurodivergent adults, autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA, gifted and twice-exceptional (2e), and with parents of neurodivergent children, including those discovering their own neurodivergence through their child's diagnosis.

I offer both counselling and coaching, and the balance depends on what you need: sometimes making sense of things, a late diagnosis, burnout after years of masking, rejection sensitivity (RSD), anxiety, low self-esteem, and sometimes practical strategies built for your actual brain rather than a neurotypical template. No diagnosis is needed to work with me; self-identification, or simply wondering, is enough.

I'm an MNCPS Accredited Registrant, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, with lived experience of late identification and neurodivergent parenthood. Alongside one-to-one work, I deliver neurodiversity training to workplaces and healthcare professionals.

All sessions are online, 60 minutes, in English or French. Everything starts with a free 20-minute call so we can see whether we're a good match, no pressure, no obligation.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I specialise in working with neurodivergent adults autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA, dyslexic, dyspraxic, gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) with a particular focus on those identified or diagnosed later in life. Whether you have a formal diagnosis, are self-identified, or are still wondering, you're welcome here.

The themes I work with most often include: autistic and ADHD burnout; the exhaustion of masking and camouflaging; the grief, relief and identity questions that follow a late diagnosis; rejection sensitivity (RSD); anxiety and chronic stress; low self-esteem and the feeling of being an impostor in your own life; anger and emotional overwhelm; and perfectionism and people-pleasing that costs more than anyone sees.

I also support parents of neurodivergent children including parents who are discovering their own neurodivergence through their child's diagnosis and adults navigating giftedness or intense minds that never quite fit the boxes.

My approach blends counselling and coaching depending on what you need: sometimes processing and making sense of things, sometimes practical strategies built for your actual brain rather than a neurotypical template. All sessions are online, in English or French.

Further information

A first session with me isn't an interrogation. We go at your pace, and stimming, moving, having your camera at an odd angle, or needing a moment to find words are all completely fine. If you communicate better in writing before we speak, that works too, tell me what you need and we'll shape things around it.

My approach is integrative and person-centred, drawing on compassion-focused, strengths-based and trauma-focused ways of working. I specialise in neurodivergence, ADHD, autism, AuDHD, PDA and giftedness/twice-exceptionality (2e), in adults, particularly those identified later in life, and in supporting parents of neurodivergent children. I work bilingually in English and French and deliver neurodiversity training to workplaces and healthcare professionals through my practice, Equalition.
