About me
Hi, my name is Marion and I am a counsellor and psychotherapist, with a background in nursing. I appreciate therapy may sometimes feel daunting, especially if you already have feelings of low mood, anxiety or just feel stuck. I can offer you a safe and confidential space where we can collaboratively explore what's keeping your problems going and work together to resolve them.
I am currently working as a psychotherapist in the third sector providing assessments and delivering therapy to clients with a wide range of psychological presentations, including low mood/depression, anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, panic, social anxiety and OCD), trauma related difficulties (including PTSD) and interpersonal difficulties.
I deliver predominantly Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), however depending on your needs I will integrate other approaches if I think you would benefit from this.

Further information
Through CBT we will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and identify unhelpful patterns. I can provide you with tools and teach you techniques to encourage more helpful thoughts and behaviours which will help you lead the life you want to lead.
Within this space, you will develop a better understanding of yourself. You'll become more self aware through self discovery. This is when change happens. Your self esteem and confidence grows. This is always a privilege to observe. If you would like to explore options for therapy with me, please get in touch.
