Mandy Reddington MBACP Counselling & Psychotherapy

About me
Location: near to Solihull hospital with free outside parking. Birmingham being only 15 minutes and Coventry 20 minutes away too.
I’m a fully qualified, MBACP Acc psychotherapeutic counsellor, running my private psychotherapy and counselling practice
I offer individual therapy to adults & young people. I also offer couples/relationship therapy as well as group therapy. I work primarily using Transactional Analysis (TA), it is a powerful and effective therapeutic approach, which is widely used by psychotherapists and counsellors to resolve areas within your life where you may be experiencing difficulties.
It’s fair to say it’s not always possible to turn to family or friends for support, and sometimes our difficulties involve those very people. We all experience times in our life when we need help. Therapy can help to move us towards a life that does work and can free us from restrictions, providing more choices and freedom. It can help us find meaning and make sense of what is going on for us and move us towards a more contented way of being.
Adolescents: going through adolescence can be a very difficult time to some, a period of great change and adjustment, and this can often seem overwhelming. I work with young people from differing backgrounds, cultures and faiths on issues which include anxiety, perfectionism, self-worth, expectation, procrastination, adjustment to life away from home, special educational needs, family issues, bullying, sexuality, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse and suicidal thoughts.
I believe what is important is whether we can work together in a way that is effective and helpful to you, therefore with individual counselling I offer an initial 30 minute free consultation. It might be that we decide to engage in short-time therapy with a very clear outcome, or we might decide to take more time and explore and work on a deeper level.
Couples/relationships: This involves an assessment which will take an hour and then 8 subsequent sessions every two to three weeks each lasting one and a half hours.
If you would like to talk to me about a problem you are experiencing then please make contact with me by phone or email.
