About me
Hi, welcome and thanks for stopping by.
What is it that brings you here today? You might be here because anxiety, stress and depression are making you feel you have lost control or there are things from the past overshadowing your day and leaving you feeling low, angry, lost stuck and struggling to live a full and happy life.
I trained as a counsellor following my own personal experiences with mental health and the overwhelming affects it can have on us. I found that Therapy can help unravel the issues and gain more control in our lives, and not unlike a jigsaw puzzle, taking time to sort the pieces and put them back together, one corner or edge at a time.
I work using Integrative counselling, sometimes, if it's right for you, I use creative methods. Your sessions are for you to guide me through your difficulties at your own pace, you are in control and we work together to figure out what will help. My own lived experiences, of Anxiety, Depression , low mood , mental health issues, both professionally and personally, enable me to offer you genuine empathy and understanding without judgement. We are both human beings who have made mistakes and have found life hard at times, I feel it’s important to connect and use that knowledge to explore the issues you choose to bring. I have a long history of experience both as a parent of a Neurodiverse child and also with parents , YP experiencing challenges, that can be linked to Social and emotional difficulties, Additional needs and Neurodiversity and I understand being a parent is hard. I also specialize in struggles with weight and weight loss, I work in a trauma informed way keeping you safe throughout.
