About me
Hi, welcome and thanks for stopping by.
I can help you make changes from feeling overwhelmed, overloaded and feeling stuck to moving towards living a full and happy life again . Anxious? Stressed? Just had enough? Perhaps you don't know where to start, you have, just by being here you have taken the first step.
You might be here because you are Neurodivergent, newly diagnosed , self diagnosed looking to understand yourself better.
I am here to help explore with you with a plain speaking approach to counselling.
I trained as a counsellor following my own personal experiences with mental health and the overwhelming affects it can have on us. I found that Therapy can help unravel the issues and gain more control in our lives, and not unlike a jigsaw puzzle, taking time to sort the pieces and put them back together, one corner or edge at a time.
I work using Integrative counselling and therapeutic coaching, sometimes, if it's right for you, I use creative methods. Your sessions are for you to guide me through your difficulties at your own pace, you are in control and we work together to figure out what will help. My own lived experiences, of being Neurodivergent, Anxiety, Depression , low mood , mental health issues, both professionally and personally, enable me to offer you genuine empathy and understanding without judgement. We are both human beings who have made mistakes and have found life hard at times, I feel it’s important to connect and use that knowledge to explore the issues you choose to bring.
I also specialize in struggles with weight and weight loss, you can find me on the Centre for Bariatric Supports website, centreforbariatricsupport.com
I work in a trauma informed way keeping you safe throughout.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
