About me
I am a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and an Accredited Consultant in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist.Accredited Consultants are accredited Practitioners who have received further training and supervision as well as having extensive experience in the practice of EMDR. They are qualified to supervise EMDR therapists who are working towards becoming accredited Practitioners and Consultants.Both Therapies are recognised by the National Institute for Care Excellence for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and for a range of anxiety and mood disorders as well as trauma. I am also a qualified nurse with 21 years experience in mental health working with severe mental illness and depression and anxiety. I am also able to offer EMDR supervision to other clinicians who have participated in the training.

I work in collaborative way with my clients working toward the goals they set. Many therapists will offer CBT however do not have a formal qualification in CBT. My formal qualification was obtained from Oxford University renowned all over the world as a centre of excellence.

Between £60-£85 an hour
When I work
I offer appointments in the evenings and at weekends to suit peoples work commitments.Additionally I offer EMDR supervision to clinicians who are trained in EMDR .
Further information
As well as my therapy skills I have extensive knowledge of mental health. I still work in mental health and currently work with the military and understand the distinct needs of the military population, the language they use and the occupational grading structure.
