About me
Finding a suitable therapist can feel challenging, especially if battling negative mental health and experiencing a difficult time in your life. Whether you feel that I may work best for you, or not, please do feel that you can introduce yourself, ask questions as desired and engage in a free 30-minute zoom consultation and follow-up if required.
I belief that a safe, empathic, non-judgemental relationship between therapist and client is imperative in helping clients successfully heal, promote personal growth and, where necessary, change. Hence why I invite you to engage in a free video consultation in order to sense for yourself if we are a suitable therapeutic fit.
Following 4-years clinical training in Transactional Analysis, I am trauma-informed, a mindfulness practitioner and have over 10-years experience providing counselling and psychotherapy services to both individuals and couples. I have expertise in various client presentations from anxiety, PTSD, depression, grief, relational difficulties and, increasingly more recently, acute overwhelm from ADHD/neurodiversity challenges. I also draw on my previous 10-year-career in financial services to help inform my work with performance-related-anxiety and burnout.
In my role, I can help navigate you on a journey of increased self-awareness, authenticity and autonomy and permit you to develop agency to advocate for yourselves with confidence.
Whilst developing increased resilience, empathy and self-compassion, you can be gently guided towards self-actualisation, realising your full potential, by updating strategies for dealing with life which are no longer working for you. Replacing these mechanisms with new scientifically-driven methodology, we can work to enable you to solve problems using all your resources as an adult.
As part of this process, I can help you to help live a more balanced, happy, self-assured life in the present. In doing so, you can achieve genuine autonomy: self awareness, spontaneity and the capacity for real and meaningful relationships.
My aim is to actively and empathically listen to what you have to say to help you get in touch with, understand and express your thoughts and feelings about issues that cause you concern. I want to help you to explore probable sources of your concerns and to co-jointly develop strategies for managing these thoughts and feelings and their accompanying behavioural manifestations.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
UKATA (formally the Institute of Transactional Analysis) is the national UK Transactional Analysis organisation representing all fields of TA theory and practice. TA can be used as an effective tool in a wide range of contexts such as: personal development, management, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy, teaching, education, parenting and more.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

During our initial session, we can explore what brings you to therapy and how we might work together to achieve your desired aims. If you feel that I am the right therapist for you, and we can work together, we will contract for an agreed number of sessions, normally 6-8, subject to midway review.
My fees comprise:-

- £50-70
- Couples:
- £100-£150 for 90-minute sessions
- £75-£100 for 60-minute sessions
