About me
I offer a warm, open and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, recognised and validated. I work at the client’s pace, bringing empathy, kindness, curiosity and authenticity to the therapeutic relationship.
I believe many people come to counselling carrying self-blame, especially when early experiences did not provide the validation, safety or understanding they needed. I hold the view that this is not their fault. Often, these patterns are rooted in childhood experiences and survival responses, and I work gently and compassionately to explore those origins with curiosity and care.
My style is collaborative, clear and grounded. I aim to help clients reflect on their own words, deepen their personal insight and begin to recognise negative self-views or patterns that may no longer be serving them. I often bring psychoeducation into the work where helpful, using clean, clear language and examples to support understanding of thought processes, brain and survival mechanisms, and relational dynamics. Where appropriate, I may also use thoughtful self-disclosure or anonymous clinical examples to help make sense of the work in a way that feels accessible and human.
Clients often describe me as warm, kind, compassionate, self-aware and comfortable with silence. I value humour where it feels appropriate, and I aim to create a space where trust can build early on in the therapeutic relationship.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

£50 per 50-minute session for individuals.
While in training as a relationship therapist, I can offer a discounted rate of £40 for couples / relationship / family therapy per 50-minute session.
Many people assume couples therapy is only for relationships in crisis—when things have already reached a breaking point.
But the truth is, you don’t have to be on the verge of ending your relationship to seek support. Therapy isn’t just an emergency fix—it can be a proactive way to strengthen your connection.
Couples therapy helps partners communicate more effectively, work through recurring challenges in healthier ways, and build patterns that support a stronger future together.
For students undertaking their counseling degree, either face-to-face or online, I offer private therapy rates of £30 per hour. You can bring what you need to sessions. I am here to help.

Further information
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 30-minute telephone or Microsoft Teams assessment. This initial conversation gives you space to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to explore, and what you feel you might need. It is also an opportunity for us both to get a sense of whether we are the right fit for one another. While being ready for change is an important first step, I believe that effective therapy also depends on finding a client–counsellor partnership that feels safe, comfortable and aligned. During this assessment, we can discuss any questions you have, as well as my practice boundaries and limitations, so you can make an informed and confident choice about how you would like to proceed.
If you are a couple or in a relationship or family wishing to seek low cost counselling, as I am in my final year of my MA in Contemporary Relationships I can offer discounted rates to work with couples/relationships/families/groups to enable me to fulfil the requirements of the Masters Degree. Please get in touch for further information.
