About me
I am a Play and Creative Arts Therapist working with children and young people aged 4–12, based in Brighton & Hove. I offer therapy from my private studio in Saltdean and work collaboratively within local primary schools.
My practice is child-led, relational, and integrative, grounded in contemporary research and best practice in child mental health. I draw on play, creative expression, and the therapeutic relationship to support children in making sense of their experiences at their own pace, in ways that feel safe, meaningful, and accessible to them.
I am a neuroaffirmative therapist, I have specialist training in AutPlay® Therapy, an evidence-informed approach designed to meet the mental health needs of neurodivergent children and young people. I work holistically, recognising each child within the context of their family, school, and wider systems, and I value close collaboration with parents, carers, and professionals to support lasting change.
I am EMDR trained and can offer a structured, evidence-based process to alleviate distress from traumatic memories. This enables children to reprocess traumatic events by combining play therapy with bilateral stimulation.
