About me

Hello and welcome to my Practice. I'm all about being human and genuine, I offer support and encouragement in a compassionate and non-judgemental way. I work collaboratively with clients to build a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust and honesty. Together we can explore and understand how your experiences impact your life and relationships.

I am experienced in working with clients with anxiety, depression, chaotic childhood, family and/or relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and a lack of self-love. I can help if you feel lost and disconnected, stuck or overwhelmed by life’s challenges. I also work with clients who are repeating the same behaviour/relationship patterns despite wanting to change and are looking to find new ways to set healthy boundaries, stop people pleasing or recover from narcissistic abuse.

I’m a Qualified Integrative Counsellor meaning I am trained in different techniques and will tailor my approach to best suit your individual needs.

I offer daytime and evening face to face, telephone and Zoom sessions to adults 18+.

I know it can be difficult to seek help, to decide who to approach, and to take that step of making contact. A key part of successful therapy is working with a Counsellor that you feel comfortable with, and who you feel you can get on with as a person. Contact me for a free 30min call to see how I can help.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
