About me
As a fully qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor in Person-Centred Therapy it is my role to work alongside you to fully support you as you gain understanding, and awareness over your thoughts and feelings.
I will provide a supportive and confidential safe space to support you to explore any issues and feelings you choose to bring to our sessions.
It can be hard to be honest with those closest to us however having the opportunity to discuss emotions in a understanding and non-judgements space can help untangle these overwhelming emotions and help you discover a way forward.
I work with clients who bring a wide range of issues such as: grief & loss, anxiety, low mood & depression, self-harm & suicide, OCD & phobias, mood disorders, low self esteem & confidence issues, family & relationships issues such as divorce & separation, unhealthy behaviours/habits, negative thoughts, a sense of being ‘out of control' or being overwhelmed, as well as everyday life issues.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.
I offer a free no obligation telephone consultation where you can ask questions and get to know each other. Thank you for taking a look at my profile.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
