About me
Hello and a warm welcome to my profile. My name is Luci and I am a qualified Counsellor for Adults and Young people.
Life can sometimes be very confusing and can feel quite heavy. Often we can get 'stuck' and find it difficult to process and understand our feelings and emotions. You may feel that it would help to talk to someone who really listens.
That's where I can help. I work as a person-centred Counsellor at my core but integrate this with some CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and creative methods. I offer a safe space where you can explore whats going on for you. Confidentially, calmly and in your own time. My role is not to give you advice or direct you, but rather to walk alongside you with empathy, confidentiality and non-judgmentally.
Starting therapy can be quite daunting but it doesn't have to be. In our first session, we'll talk about whats bringing you here and what you hope to gain from therapy.
I work mainly online but can offer face-to-face if preferred and also offer Walk and Talk Therapy. I also offer a free 15 minute consultation to discuss what this may look like. I offer concessions to 13-17 year olds and have a full, enhanced DBS, ensuring your child's safety and security.
Walk and Talk Therapy
Walking and being outdoors can help relieve tensions, stress and anxiety. Physical movement can help you feel more relaxed and more comfortable rather than face to face. Session will still be 50 minutes long and I will normally suggest two different areas to walk for you to choose from. These will be public, green spaces so its important to think about where you feel most comfortable. Nature has natural healing abilities, boosting endorphins and creating a mind-body connection. If you feel this is something you would be interested in, please reach out.
