About me

Hi, I am an experienced, qualified humanistic counsellor offering a safe space for young people and adults. I charge between £30 and £40, I am dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating their own journeys towards self-discovery. My approach is focused on empathetic understanding, congurance and unconditional positive regard. I believe that all individuals have the innate resources to grow and reach their full potential.

I offer counselling face to face, over the phone or online counselling you can contact me for an introductory session to address any queries or concerns at a reduced price. If you are ready to take the first step towards healing and growth, I invite you to reach out. We can work together to achieve your personal goals and create a safe space where you feel comfortable and at ease. I am a registered member of the BACP and follow their ethical codes, and I continue to learn and refresh my knowledge while completing continuing professional development.

It might feel extremely difficult to take a step towards exploring experiences and feelings that you may have never spoken about before, especially with someone you haven't met yet. What you bring to therapy is for you to decide, and it is different for everyone, and nothing is ever considered ‘not important’ or 'not big enough' to talk about and explore. You take the lead of your sessions, and I will follow. We can work together and explore your concerns and thoughts at a pace you find comfortable and safe with.

Is humanistic counselling the right fit for you? This form of therapy offers a compassionate and supportive environment where feelings and experiences can be explored without any judgment. It encourages individuals to reach for self-discovery and their own personal growth. helping individuals find their path towards a more fulfilled and authentic life. If you're looking for a safe space to understand yourself better and make positive changes towards your future humansitic counselling may be the right pathway for you to go down.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
