About me
I am an experienced Core Process Psychotherapist and Supervisor, offering online therapy and in-person sessions from my private practice near Totnes. I have worked across a range of settings, including private practice, mental health, addiction services, family mediation, educational institutions, and multidisciplinary teams. I work with individuals, couples, and those struggling with addiction, bringing a compassionate and collaborative approach to every therapeutic relationship.
I believe that meaningful and lasting change happens within a safe, trusting space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood. For me, therapy is not about “fixing” a problem, but about creating a holding environment in which clients can reconnect with their inner strengths, deepen self-awareness, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Couples Therapy
As a Couples Therapist, I support partners to improve communication, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict in constructive and compassionate ways. My work is influenced by attachment-based and emotionally focused approaches. I help couples slow down reactive cycles, recognise negative relational patterns, explore underlying unmet needs, and develop new ways of creating deeper emotional connection.
In couples work, I support partners in:
Improving communication
Rebuilding and repairing trust
Moving forward after deep hurt
Navigating conflict
Making decisions about the future of the relationship
Addiction & Healing
I work with individuals experiencing substance use and behavioural addictions, as well as those in recovery. Therapy may focus on:
Understanding triggers and recurring patterns
Addressing underlying emotional wounds
Building coping strategies and internal resources
Relapse prevention
Rebuilding relationships and self-trust
I take a non-judgmental, harm-reduction and recovery-oriented approach. Whether you are questioning your relationship with substances or committed to long-term abstinence, therapy can provide structure, accountability, and steady support

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
