About me

I see clients privately in Fulham (SW6) and Clapham Old Town (SW4).

I'm here to listen to you and help you find the best way forward.

I use an Integrative approach to best meet my client's needs. I provide a safe welcoming space where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings, a place they can truly be heard.

My 'Integrative approach' means I combine an empathetic Person-centred and Psychodynamic model where I hope to help clients explore their current context, bring understanding and clarity to past events and to untangle their emotional legacy. Our exploration will help identify a way forward so that you can enable positive change.

I understand that the therapeutic process can be challenging, but with a quality of presence, respect and a genuine interest in people, I’ll assist in finding new perspective that brings self-awareness, strength and self-belief. I hope to help clients realise that they have the tools to deal with the uncertainty that we face in life. I’ll provide an engaging warmth that will allow clients to feel comfortable in discussing their thoughts.

Previously, I worked in the Art industry and Charity sector. I have a keen interest in existentialism and all the thoughts that might arise from questioning our surroundings and meaning.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

Specific Learning Difficulty’ (SpLD) Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia

I have personal experience with these issues.

Receiving a diagnose can be hard on all concerned, whether you are a parent with a child recently diagnosed and they are exhibiting frustration and disruptive behaviours. An adult having difficulties with self-esteem and social anxiety resulting from SpLD.

I understand that it's a 'state of being' not just an educational problem. Together we can explore how to put it to positive use.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
