About me

About Me
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work to your individual needs. I recognise that every person is unique, and there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming — whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, or feeling stuck.

I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. From personal experience, I understand how valuable it can be to have a space that is just for you — somewhere you can begin to offload, reflect, and feel heard.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the capacity for self-understanding and change. I see my role alongside you, in a real person-to-person relationship where you can be yourself. I aim to support you in making sense of your experiences, which may help in understanding what you are going through. Together, we can explore ways forward that feel right for you.

How I Work
As an integrative practitioner, I may draw from approaches such as:

Person-Centred Therapy (influenced by the work of Carl Rogers)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Mindfulness-based techniques

I aim to build a therapeutic relationship based on:

Empathy
Authenticity
Respect
Collaboration

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualifications.

  • Integrative Counselling Diploma: Dip HE ( level 5)
  • Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)

Who I work with

I have a varied and wide-reaching experience, which includes supporting people experiencing depression, the impact of difficult relationships or family experiences, domestic abuse, stress anxiety and low self-esteem, grief and bereavement, PTSD and C-PTSD with a particular specialism in neurodiversity. In our first sessions, we'll move together at a pace that feels right for you.

How I work

In our first session, we'll explore what brings you here and what feels most important to you. My integrative approach may include various forms of self-expression, in addition to talking therapy, such as using objects, writing, or movement. Together, we'll discover what feels most helpful for you.

I take payment by bank transfer and offer a free 30-minute call—please feel free to get in touch.

Further information

I am a registered member of the National Counselling Society (NCPS), and this commitment to ethical, grounded practice is woven into everything I do. At the heart of my work is a wish to offer a space where you can simply arrive as yourself — without pressure, without expectation.

I offer one-to-one sessions, which can be in person, online or by telephone. This can be short-term or long-term. I offer a free 30-minute online or phone introduction, where we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and see if we would be a good fit to work together.
