About me
I specialise in working with Children and Adolescents using play, creative arts and talking therapies.
At the heart of my practice is the relationship I build with each child and young person. I believe this trusting connection is where meaningful change can begin.
With over 15 years’ experience working with neurotypical and neurodivergent children, young people and families, I bring extensive knowledge of adolescent mental health and the challenges that can arise during this important stage of life.
I have also worked widely in primary schools, using arts and play to help children explore and communicate big feelings when words are not available and using creative approaches to support younger children and teenagers’ developing sense of self.
I work with children and adolescents experiencing emotional challenges, including trauma, parental separation, school and friendship issues. I usually meet parents or carers first, although this may not be appropriate for teenagers. Early sessions are relaxed, allowing us to build trust and identify the support that best meets each young person's needs
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a UKCP-registered child and adolescent integrative psychotherapist, supporting children and young people with neurodivergence, anxiety, low mood, self-harm, substance use and family or school difficulties. I can also work with parents and carers where helpful. I prioritise safety and connection, working at each individual’s pace and adapting my approach to their needs.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, and I offer a limited number of low-cost spaces. I work from my clinic in Brighton and Hove, and I offer appointments in Chichester by arrangement.
Further information
If I sound like the right fit, please do get in touch. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your child’s needs and whether working together feels appropriate. Therapy is not a magic wand, but it can provide a safe, supportive relationship in which change becomes possible.
