About me
Hey, I'm Liz, an Integrative Therapist offering counselling and psychotherapy in Poole and online. I specialise in supporting young people (11+) and adults who feel overwhelmed by life's challenges - whether it's navigating the pressures of "adulting," managing anxiety, or figuring out who you are beyond family and societal expectations.
I know how tough it can be when life feels like a constant balancing act. Maybe you're struggling to make sense of shifting friendships, career uncertainties, or feeling disconnected from your true self. You might feel anxious, stuck, or like you're not quite living the life you want.
I'm here to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore these feelings, gain clarity, and build the tools you need to thrive.
What I offer:
I tailor each session to you. No one-size-fits-all therapy here. Together, we'll use approaches like:
- Person-Centred Therapy: You lead the way, and I'll walk alongside you
- Transactional Analysis: Understand your relationship patterns and improve communication
- Gestalt Therapy: Stay present in the moment and connect with your emotions
- Existential Therapy: Explore the bigger questions of meaning, purpose, and identity.
Whether it's working through anxiety, finding your footing in life's transitions, or building confidence in your decisions, I'm here to help.
What Sets Me Apart:
I'm the kind of therapist who'll wear Converse or slippers in our sessions and happily chat about the latest Below Desk episode. I bring authenticity and realness into the room, creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
With my lived experience of managing anxiety, depression, and the highs and lows of young adulthood, I truly get how messy and complex life can feel. I also offer sliding scale fees because your mental health should never be a luxury.
Special Interests:
- Anxiety and Overwhelm
- Navigating Life Transitions (uni, career, relationships)
- Creative Identity and Self-Expression
- Family Dynamics & Boundaries
How we'll work together:
Imagine a life where you feel grounded, confident, and connected - to yourself and those around you. Together, we'll uncover what's holding you back, work through the difficult stuff, and help you move towards a life that reflects your values and aspirations.
Here's A Bit About Me:
When I'm not in therapist mode, here's a little glimpse into my world:
- Creative soul: Lover of interior design and houseplants (the more, the better)
- Documentary fan: From Monsters: Menendez Brothers to Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
- Self-Care focused: Love meal prep and outdoor walks with a coffee in hand
- Detail-orientated: Known for remembering the little things and bringing smiles to friends' faces
Next Steps:
Ready to explore how therapy could help you? Drop me a message and we can book a consultation session to see if we're the right fit. Whether you prefer in-person sessions in my plant-filled therapy space in Poole, or online from the comfort of your home, I'm here for you. Let's take that first step together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
