About me
Hello and welcome.
I am a qualified counsellor offering a kind, open-hearted space in which you can be accepted for who you are and how you are feeling. I believe in the power of listening and hearing another person in all their complexity and fullness.
Perhaps you might feel that there is no space in your life to be with yourself and to reflect on your story. What would it be like to choose to make a safe space for yourself where all the parts of who you are, are welcomed?
Every person’s experience and pain is uniquely their own and I respect and honour that uniqueness in each client.
When we are heard and seen in our despair and our glory, our grief and our joy I believe we can begin to build a safe place for ourselves in our own world and meaning in our own story.
I now also offer Nature Allied Psychotherapy which takes place outdoors and invites nature in as a participant in our conversations. If you are interested in finding out more about how this works, please contact me.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

£75.00 per session
Additional information
My fee is £75 for a 50 minute session.
I offer an initial session at the reduced rate of £55 for us to explore how it might be to work together.
I offer a number of lower fees to people on low incomes. Please talk to me about this if you cannot afford the full fee.
