About me
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, or a loss of a sense of self that affects your day-to-day life, relationships, or your work? Do you feel overwhelmed or frustrated just getting through the day? The difficulties you are experiencing may be due to changes in your circumstances, life transitions, or past difficult life events and experiences. You may be feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward.
With my clinical experience and supportive guidance, we will work through your difficulties together at a pace that is right for you. I will help you to understand the causes of your current difficulties and help you to develop strategies and techniques to manage difficult thoughts and feelings. We will always be working towards your treatment goals.
If you have any questions or if you’re ready to take the first step towards feeling better, do get in contact. I offer a free 15-minute phone call to discuss how we can work together. This will help you to see if I would be the right fit for you at this time.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, trained to Doctoral level at the University of Edinburgh. With 18 years of NHS experience, I have primarily worked with Adults and Older Adults, including 9 years in a Young Onset Dementia Service. I specialize in providing therapeutic support to adults experiencing a wide range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, grief, loss, adjustment issues, cognitive issues, and interpersonal difficulties.
I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma (Pg. Dip) in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Glasgow, which has enhanced my expertise in neuropsychological assessment and intervention. I have experience assessing individuals with conditions such as Dementia and Long Covid. Additionally, I offer cognitive rehabilitation to support individuals facing cognitive challenges. I also have experience supporting carers of people with conditions such as dementia.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
